On Monday afternoon, the PYD’s Asayish forces arrested 4 relatives of the ex-president of Kurdish National Council Ibrahim Birro, including 2 minors.
The Kurdish member of opposition Ibrahim Birro told NSO that 20 armed men belonging to the Asayish ambushed his house in al-Moathafeen neighbourhood in Qamishli city, where his sister and her family live, then arrested his sister Kalzelar Birro with her husband Abdulmajeed Mostafa and their sons; Saiber 13 years old and Alnad 11 years old, and took them to an unknown area.
Birro added that his sister and her family were arrested because they are living in his house, and said that PYD and its supporters never stopped harassing his family over time.
Kurdish opponent Ibrahim Birro was arrested by Assad regime and PYD multiple times, and he was the head of the Kurdish National Council for about 2 years and a half since July 2015.
